Megan Hodgkiss, Esq., is a doctoral student in Georgia State University’s Communication Department.   Her research is focused on issues related to media law and public policy.  Megan holds two previous degrees from GSU (B.A. Journalism, M.A. Mass Communication Theory) and a law degree (J.D.) from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.  In addition to her academic work, Megan has a professional background in print journalism, television and radio production, as well as marketing/public relations.  She is a licensed attorney and mediator, contributing magazine writer and editor, and serves on the Executive Boards of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Women in the Profession Section and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
